Home Monitoring

Taking Care Sense is a small home monitor with alerts, wellbeing checks and weekly email summaries that help you support the independence of a loved one. The discreet device uses smart technology to monitor small changes in the home environment to help identify situations where the homeowner’s welfare might be at risk.

For example, very low temperatures can suggest that use of central heating is being restricted, or changes to daily routines such as use of the kettle, washing up and opening windows or doors, can indicate that the person isn’t going in and out of the kitchen in the way they normally would. When the device picks up on unexpected changes, it will automatically alert the Resolution Team so that they can notify the person’s loved ones.

Key Safes

A key safe provides a convenient and secure way to store spare door keys, so that others can quickly access your home in an emergency and without causing any damage.

The weatherproof box can be fitted to an exterior wall and is locked with a four-digit code of your choosing.  Friends, family, or neighbours that you share the code with will then be able to open the safe to retrieve keys and enter your home if you are unable to get to the door. If you have an Age Co Personal Alarm you can also share the code with the Taking Care Emergency Resolution Team. The information will be kept confidential and only shared with emergency services such as paramedics to ensure help can be provided without delay.
